Sandwatch activities started in: 2003

Coordination of Sandwatch in Cook Islands:

​Sandwatch in the Cook Islands has been coordinated by the Ministry of Education and the Cook Islands National Commission for UNESCO since 2003.  Schools in all the islands of the Cook Islands have been involved as well as other groups.  Aspects of the Sandwatch methodology have been incorporated into the middle school curriculum
